How to use Kling AI
Getting the most from Kling 3.0 and Kling 4: settings, frames, sound and prompts that play to their strengths.
Kling, from Kuaishou, is known for natural human and animal movement and believable physics. In GenKite you can use Kling 3.0 and Kling 4 online without a waitlist or a separate subscription.
Kling 3.0 or Kling 4?
- Kling 3.0 makes clips of 3 to 15 seconds, at 720p (Standard) or 1080p (Professional), with optional sound effects and ambience.
- Kling 4 keeps the same natural motion and allows much longer shots, up to 30 seconds, with sound included.
Start with Kling 3.0 for most shots and switch to Kling 4 when one continuous take has to run longer.
Step by step
- Open the studio and choose Kling.
- Write your prompt, or switch to image to video and upload a picture.
- Optionally add a last frame so the shot ends on a picture you choose.
- Choose the length, shape and quality, switch sound on if you want it, and generate.
Prompts that suit Kling
Kling rewards precise physical description. Say how bodies move, how fast, and what touches what:
A skateboarder pushes off, ollies over a park bench and lands, the board rattling on the concrete. Low tracking shot, late afternoon sun.
A snow leopard steps onto a rocky ledge in falling snow and looks straight into the camera.
Tips:
- One continuous action per clip. For a sequence, make separate shots and cut them together in Director.
- Describe the camera ("low tracking shot", "slow push in").
- For image to video, describe only the movement.
Is Kling free?
New GenKite accounts get free credits with no card needed, so you can try Kling before paying. The exact price of each clip is shown before you generate.
