Making a finished video with Director

From a one-line brief to a storyboard, rendered shots and a final cut with music or narration.

Director plans a video as a list of shots, renders each one with the model you choose, then cuts them together.

1. Pick what you are making

Short film, music video, UGC ad, product ad, trailer, social clip, branding piece, explainer, micro drama, podcast clip, or a smart shot: one idea filmed from several angles.

2. Write the brief

Say who or what it is about, the mood, and anything that must appear. Add a saved character to keep a person or product consistent.

3. Shape the storyboard

Edit any shot's description, length or narration, add and remove shots, and move them around. When the planning assistant is connected you can also ask for changes in the chat, such as "make it moodier" or "add a shot of the city at night".

4. Render and cut

You see the price before anything renders. Shots render as many at a time as your plan allows, the rest start as others finish, and the final cut is made automatically. A shot that fails is refunded and can be re-rendered on its own.

Music videos play your track over the cut. Explainers and podcast clips can read the narration as a voiceover.
